Portable Offices Leeds depot celebrates first anniversary

A year after its launch and Portable Offices Leeds depot is paving the way for portable building accommodation in the north of the country, assisting numerous companies with their expansion needs.

‘Going for growth’ has become the company’s watchword as the dynamic duo that is Chris Hanson and Becky Scholefield work tirelessly to make expanding companies’ accommodation dreams a reality.

“Any companies or schools that are looking for additional modular buildings might contact us,” says Becky. “It can be quite random in terms of the sector and is really anyone looking to expand or relocate a business or community function, so anything from mobile classrooms or mobile offices to warehouses.”

Already some of the firm’s earliest customers are building on their initial success with further expansion. One of the Leeds depot’s first clients, a company that recycles electrical products, initially required office and washroom accommodation. Now, further accommodation requirements have necessitated the development of double-stacked offices into the warehouse.

The team has also ‘got on board’ with a converter of buses for pop stars and celebrity tours.

Now, a year on and in keeping with Britain’s 2012 Olympic theme, the Leeds team intends to raise the bar for the next 12 months – building on their initial success and ‘going for a home gold’ they will market themselves to the growing number of businesses developing in the local area.
