Leeds Depot Sets the Scene for a Busy and Exciting Season…

It’s been a strong and highly satisfying start to the year for the team at Portable Offices’ Leeds Depot, with a busy first quarter packed full of exciting projects, new opportunities, and plenty of repeat customers returning for more of the high-quality service we’re proud to deliver.

Building Strong Foundations
One of the early highlights of 2025 was the installation of a four-bay modular building at the new site of a utility company in Birtley, County Durham. The team refurbished a building – which previously served as Sandycroft Depot’s temporary office – transforming it into a fresh, modern space with open-plan offices, a meeting room, toilets, and a kitchen. It’s a perfect example of how smart refurbishment and quality craftsmanship can breathe new life into modular buildings.

Another standout project saw a two-storey modular building installed at the scenic Tees Wharf in Middlesbrough, supporting a leading marine company. The fully refurbished building, finished in the client’s cream and blue corporate colours, looked right at home against a backdrop of blue skies and calm waters. Inside, the team added special lighting and acoustic panels to create a smart, professional space with an upmarket feel – the customer was absolutely delighted with the result.

Welcoming Back Returning Clients
Depot Manager, Becky Scholefield, shared more good news:
“We’ve had a great run of orders from returning customers, which is always a brilliant sign for the depot. Harron Homes, JCT600 and Cruden Homes have all come back to us, benefiting from the same excellent customer service and high-quality cabins they’ve previously enjoyed.”

Becky also highlighted some of the other valued customers they’ve supported recently, including Moredale Foods, DawsonGroup, Paralloy Ltd, and ESPA (Education and Services for People with Autism).

“It’s always extra special when we supply buildings to organisations like ESPA, knowing the units will be used to improve lives and support important work within the community,” Becky added.

The Signature Collection Shines
It’s also been a fantastic start for the Signature Collection, with Leeds Depot playing a key role in the rollout of our premium range of cabins. These stylish spaces are designed to feel like an inspiring part of any working environment – comfortable, modern, and designed to encourage creativity and connection.

Already this year, the team has supplied:
🏢 Two Signature meeting rooms
🏢 One state-of-the-art Signature office

One of these Signature units has even made its way onto the set of a popular reality TV show, showcasing the level of quality and design Portable Offices is proud to offer.

“We’re so proud of the quality of our workmanship,” Becky said. “The Signature Collection has been really well received, and we’re continuing to produce more to meet future demand. We’re even starting to send ready-to-show Signature units to other depots so everyone has a piece of what we’ve created here in Leeds!”

Looking Ahead
With a growing portfolio of projects, a stream of returning customers, and the Signature Collection making waves, it’s shaping up to be a brilliant year for Leeds Depot.
