New to the Fleet
Portable Offices has just introduced a new, large articulated lorry to the company’s vehicle fleet. The investment in the new truck has enabled Portable Office to transport increasingly large units to their customers, sometimes delivering two units at a time, creating a more economically efficient service for customers.
The 85 ton crane with 16m reach on the new state-of-the-art vehicle provides more flexibility on-site, meaning that a building can be more easily positioned to customer requirements. The lorry is liveried with the Portable Offices’ branding.
Managing Director, Adrian Witty, said: “The fleet of lorries are the bedrock of the business providing clients with a reliable, safe and timely delivery of their portable accommodation. Keeping the haulage fleet in top condition is a prime requirement and previous lorries in the fleet have gone on to clock up over a million kilometres.
“The successful installation of a contract relies on the skill of drivers and operators and their ability to meet an often challenging delivery criteria of limited access and space – the smaller truck will continue to service clients with limited access.
