Strategic expansion results in new move for Leeds Depot

Portable Offices’ Leeds operation will shortly be moving to a new two acre site with new purpose-built, state-of-the-art offices, improved staff amenities and plenty of space to showcase the latest portable buildings.

Although the move is just a quarter of a mile away, the new offices in Morley will take the company into the Leeds (LS) postcode district which is likely to be a hit with businesses seeking nearby suppliers of portable accommodation.

The move follows a year on year successful trading pattern which has resulted in the operation outgrowing its current site and facilities.

Regional Manager, Chris Hanson, commented: “Moving into our own site will give us greater freedom and flexibility moving forward.  We will exponentially increase the number of products we can showcase on site to around 150 units which will provide a solid platform to launch the range to local businesses.

“Establishing a new depot will provide us with a competitive platform from which to compete on equal terms with our rivals and enable us to capitalise on some of the new emerging market opportunities in Yorkshire.  There will also be new openings including a new site engineer to spearhead the redevelopment of pre-loved products.”
