Sandycroft to the Rescue … once again!

Sandycroft to the Rescue … once again!

Sandycroft has continued to respond to disaster call-outs for damage caused by fire and floods, despite the depot’s busy schedule with pandemic testing and vaccination centres on-going.

Recently a fire at a local builders’ merchant resulted in an urgent requirement for portable units to enable the outlet to continue trading.

Portable Offices responded in record time handing over an 18M x 10M building. The client was over the moon with the rapid response.

Flooded School:

A school in Warrington suffered a flood earlier this year and Portable Offices was approached to supply six classrooms and three toilet blocks, along with water and waste supplies, ramps and trackway. The buildings were onsite within less than three weeks from receipt of order.

In addition, Sandycroft is seeing a great many repeat orders from key customers in the schools and hospital sectors and from water companies and breweries.

Many staff have now returned to the office and a rota with home workers is in place.

Operations Manager, Jemma Wilson, commented: “We are delighted to be welcoming more of our team back into the office where we are introducing regular lateral flow Covid tests for staff.

“Despite our busy state, we are maintaining a decent level of stock in the yard at ‘ready to go’ status which enables us to respond quickly to urgent enquiries.

“We have also achieved a 95 per cent grade in our recent annual health and safety audit, which is an indication of how these working methods are now at the cornerstone of all our procedures.”
