New portable accommodation gets the ‘paws up’ at Jerry Green Dog Rescue

A new portable building is all set to give dog rehomings a boost at Jerry Green Dog Rescue in Boston, Lincolnshire.
The 34? X 10? building, provided by Portable Offices, offers a reception and office area where potential adopters can meet rescue dogs in a specially designated quiet, enclosed area.

The rescue takes in stray and abandoned dogs from the South Lincolnshire area and rehomes them. There are currently around 22 dogs seeking new kind, loving homes and the new cabin will provide an ideal ?meet and match? area.

The site is currently the subject of some refurbishment and is one of five dog rehoming centres located throughout Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire operating under the Jerry Green Dog Rescue banner.

Howard Bridges, Head of Estates for Jerry Green Dog Rescue, said: ?A calm enclosed area provides an ideal situation for visitors to meet their new pets. The cabin is clean, warm, airy and inviting and the service we received from Portable Offices was superb.?

?The team worked in tandem with us to produce the end result, which is everything we hoped for. They were professional throughout and resolved any problems quickly and effectively.?

The unit is sited in a dedicated area where staff can focus on the needs of the dogs and visitors without other distractions.

Dean Dixon, Manager of Portable Offices? Derby depot, said: ?We needed to provide an additional three external doors for easy access by the dogs and handlers, this all went smoothly and the unit was installed within a three week lead time.?
