Luton Welcomes a New Depot Manager

Luton is the Star of the Show

Luton depot is back centre stage on the big and small screen as the team enables film producers and light entertainment shows like Strictly Come Dancing to fulfill their commitments to viewers.

The Covid pandemic saw many TV and film productions put on hold but now, as many enjoy the benefits of re-emerging from lockdown, its back to treading the boards and the office has been under pressure to secure a full complement of portable buildings to the show biz and entertainment world.

Luton Sales Manager, Neil Christie, said: “We have provided numerous portable buildings for small screen productions like Strictly and have pulled out all the stops to ensure that the ‘show can go on… and we also have big screen clients now back filming.”

Away from the bright lights, Luton has won many noteworthy contracts including units for mobile testing stations at some of the largest and busiest airports around the country.

Neil commented:

“The airport testing station contractor had previously used a competitors’ products and was disillusioned after receiving a poor quality product and service. I am delighted to report that they are over the moon with our products and our team’s commitment after switching to us some time ago.”

The sales and marketing suite sector has remained buoyant and the leading car rental company that has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with Portable Offices, is also continuing to remain busy.

In addition, other notable contracts include a community sports changing facility provided by a local aviation company and a large café for a garden nursery.
