Colourful additions to Rainbow Day Nursery

Children come first at Rainbow Day Nursery, Brooks Lane, Middlewich and so when the need arose for additional facilities to provide a before and after school club, owner / manager, Alison Sumner responded with the ultimate in flexible accommodation provided by Portable Offices.

Modular Building – Rainbow Day Nursery

A new wing was established within just a few weeks adjacent to the existing nursery building.  The modular accommodation provides an additional three areas to provide a playgroup during the day and a before and after school club outside normal school hours for around 50 children.

At the time of the build, Rainbow Day Nursery leased the land and a prime requirement was the need for flexible accommodation that could be updated to meet the nursery’s growing demands.

Portable Offices’ National Sales Manager, Ian Smith, managed the project, providing full assistance for the nursery covering planning liaison, foundations, drainage & services and the single-storey building was quickly erected and the contract was completed within just 4 weeks.

Alison Sumner, Owner Manager commented: “There is a great deal of competition in the portable accommodation market at present so we were delighted when Portable Offices not only provided an excellent, cost-effective solution to our expansion needs but also provided a free upgrade on our existing building.

“We currently rent the buildings and opted for a modular approach because it was the most speedy and cost-effective building option although I certainly don’t feel as though it is a compromise at all. We have places for up to 50 children and the areas are inviting, warm, bright and welcoming.”
