Portable Offices is delighted to announce that Lauren Roberts in accounts has given birth to a gorgeous 9lb baby girl called Erin. While she was enduring her labour, Colin Pearce (right), her locum from Liverpool who is covering her maternity leave, was giving birth with a lot?less effort, to the child of his dreams ? a refurbished lime green Mini.

Indeed, Mini?s must be in the air at Sandycroft because Dave Hought – yard manager, has spent all his spare time and money refurbishing a Mini for his son. His labour of love is now finished and the results of his efforts are now providing a first car for his son.

At least Colin and Dave won?t endure sleepless nights through their babies. As Leo J Burke famously said: ?People who say they sleep like a baby usually don’t have one.?
