The beat goes on at Luton

Luton depot is bucking the usual winter downturn trend and is instead continuing to respond to high levels of enquiries and orders from new and repeat business contacts.

Luton’s longstanding relationship with a Championship Football Club is continuing with a further five year contract for hire of units at the ground. This summer saw them increase their capacity to accommodate new players for both the first team and the academy with additional facilities provided for added security and press conference rooms.

Success at the club generated an interest from another football club looking to develop their own youth development programme along similar lines.

Whilst interest from the retail sector resulted in the provision of a modular unit to a major high street brand name within Euston Station’s latest flagship redevelopment has enabled the retailer to double the size of its operation and has highlighted once again, the versatility of portable buildings in providing contemporary, flexible spaces for commercial enterprises.

In addition, Luton has continued to provide portable accommodation solutions across a range of diverse sectors from classrooms and sales suites for housing and motor retail developments to a state-of-the-art community sports facility in Lewisham.

Manager, Neil Christie, comments: “After a full-on summer, we are still waiting for the usual winter slow-down but so far, we remain as busy as before with many clients recommending us to their peers and with numerous repeat orders. We are certainly seeing first-hand the results of the much acclaimed economic growth with clients proceeding more quickly and with more interest in top of the range finishes and fitments. Long may it continue.”
