Strictly Luton

The change of season heralded the start of the BBC’s popular series – Strictly Come Dancing and once again, Luton depot was called upon to install portable buildings for the latest series.

With the studios complete, the show was able to go on and production of the popular celebrity dancing show took off without any hitches. This was the latest contract in a series of orders received from the BBC for its Elstree Studios complex.

After the busiest summer ever providing classrooms and school buildings, Luton has finally come up for air but not before completing a large drama studio for a private school in Reading together with changing facilities and a link way to the school’s swimming pool.

Now, various offices are underway including a prestigious unit for Chessington World of Adventures and further contracts for a well known car hire company.

Neil Christie, Manager, commented: “Well, once again it has been a full-on season for us – our best ever in the education sector with so many urgent contracts to increase schools places for the growing pupil base. Aside from that, our usual orders of offices have been continuing and we have a number of large contracts waiting in the wings.

“We also have a high profile brick clad modular building underway at a waste site which is due for completion before the end of the year.”

The depot is continuing to score with a local football club where further contracts look set to follow.
