Portable Offices Derby Open House Success

Portable Offices’ Derby depot took the lead in a recent ‘open week’ which showcased the best in mobile offices, portable accommodation and modular buildings to new and existing customers.

The initiative drew in an exceptional number of new visitors during the course of the week where they met Portable Offices’ Derby team and saw first-hand the flexibility and benefits of portable accommodation.

Sales & Hire Administrator, Sam Lawless explains: “We hold a considerable amount of ready stock on–site and the open week provided an ideal opportunity for new and existing customers to see the quality, flexibility and convenience of our products.  The event generated a wave of interest and enquiries which we are still progressing.”

The rush of orders that followed included new purpose-built offices at the East of England Showground to additional changing rooms for a primary school in Suffolk.

With a widening catchment area, the Derby team is increasingly handling enquiries from further afield. “There’s a considerable amount of interest from schools looking for mobile classrooms keen to make their budgets go further but also from companies looking to expand,” Sam commented.

With an eye to the main chance, Derby depot is also developing a relationship with a flagship, icon of industry and is hopeful that this will come to fruition during 2012.

“We don’t want to tempt fate by saying too much too soon, but we are expecting a large, prestigious order next year.” Sam concludes.
