New Derby operation has landed

The new Portable Offices’ Derby operation has landed.

Following an extensive period of development and expansion, Portable Offices’ Derby operation has opened the doors of its new state-of-the-art offices.

The new building offers comfortable and contemporary office accommodation together with a large training room as a central resource.

Over the past few years, Derby has doubled its workforce.  The latest addition is a new Customer Accounts Manager, Sarah Johns, who will provide additional support to the logistics and administration team, to manage Portable Offices’ growing customer base.

Situated on one of the largest sites, Derby depot has extensive facilities for refurbishing units and with an expanding team of yard staff, the operation provides a one-stop-shop for modular building refits.

A prime example of this area of expertise is a recent order by a football club for a football training academy where a refurbished unit has been remodelled with floor to ceiling glazed units to give a light contemporary feel to the building.

Regional Manager, Dean Dixon, commented on Derby’s current status:

“Our new offices offer an ideal insight for clients into the versatility of portable buildings, demonstrating the possibilities of our range.  With our display units close at hand and our experienced team on hand, we are ideally placed to demonstrate the units’ potential.”

With orders coming through from individual companies, schools and car dealerships and a constant stream of enquiries, Derby depot is set to secure another successful year at the frontline of economic development.
