Daljit Sangha – Business Development Manager at Portable Offices’ Derby office has joined the Movember Movement.
Throughout November, he will be looking for sponsorship to grow a moustache for charity.
Yes, it’s November, which means it’s time to ditch your razor and grow a moustache for men’s health.
Whats it all about?
Launched each year on November 1, the month-long moustache-growing event encourages everyone to raise awareness and fundraise for cancer and men’s mental health.
What is Movember?
Movember Foundation
The Movember Foundation is tackling men’s health on a global scale. Its aim is to reduce the number of men dying prematurely by 25 per cent by 2030.
Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s suicide. The Movember Foundation runs the Movember charity event, housed at Movember.com. The goal of Movember is to “change the face of men’s health.
Clean shaven Dal is letting go for charity
Dal is the first Portable Offices’ employee to take up the moustache-growing challenge and he admits to some trepidation: “I am always clean shaven, so it is quite a break from the norm for me. However, it is all in a good cause and my family, friends and work colleagues are all behind me.”
