Chellaston Academy, formerly Chellaston Foundation School, is a comprehensive school, technology college and Academy in Chellaston in Derby.

The academy needed a temporary double classroom to accommodate pupils during the building of a new English and maths block.  Steve Ellis, Deputy Head and Business Manager spearheaded the search for a portable buildings provider; contacting well known national providers and Portable Offices who has a local depot close to the education facility.

Steve said: “We like to use local companies wherever possible and we were impressed with Portable Offices’ response and the price they submitted was also attractive.

“The whole process was handled with professionalism; the buildings arrived when they said they would and the installation went smoothly.  The finished product more than met our expectations and they left the site clean and tidy.

“Our staff like the building so much that they have asked if they can stay after the work is completed.”
