Beside the Seaside at Sandycroft
With summer finally making its mark, the Sandycroft office is on the cusp of visiting the seaside to install a number of public sector buildings for local councils, including a timber-clad training centre for lifeguards positioned on Llandudno pier and a washroom and toilets on the quayside at Rhyl Harbour.
Enquiries from schools have reached unprecedented levels and have already resulted in a double classroom for a school in Liverpool and a two-storey classroom block in Preston.
Both contracts are to accommodate additional pupils.
Operations Manager, Jemma Wilson, commented: “We are enjoying a period of unprecedented growth with enquiries from new clients and plenty of repeat business from existing clients. It is all very positive, and our team is really rising to the challenge.”
“As well as the new schools’ places enquiries, we have just received another request for a classroom within an existing school in Shropshire.”
Meanwhile, the office has taken on a new starter in accounts – Stephanie Trevorrow has joined the team as a replacement for Megan Carr who has moved on to pastures new.
And, there’s a new starter in the marketing department which is going for growth – Portable Offices’ Marketing Manager, Neil Owen and his wife Frances have welcomed a new baby into the world – Robin was born a few weeks ago and has brought lots of joy into their lives. Mum and baby are doing well although dad is suffering from some sleep deprivation whilst training our newest recruit!
Meanwhile, most of the team have now returned to the office and are handling increasing numbers of orders, enquiries and requests from new and existing clients across a varied range of sectors and there is a real positive buzz around the depot as everyone is looking forward to the busy summer ahead.
