It may be cold outside, but it’s hot at Luton depot with orders buzzing and the phone ringing with new enquiries.

2012 was one of the operation’s best years to date but it could be upstaged by 2013 if interest received in January is anything to go by.

Already, new orders are on the increase and pressure is building to fulfil on-going contracts.

With the prestigious Ahoy Centre contract now complete further interest from another charity has resulted in a new order for a community sports facility. Here, the team will be working closely with a new charitable operation designed to support under privileged children achieve their sporting ambitions.

The health service has discovered the benefits of modular buildings – with a local hospital extending its operating facilities to increase its through-put of outpatient operation with three specialist Vanguard operating theatres commissioned to provide additional specialist mobile operating theatres and recovery rooms.

More recently another hospital commissioned a 12 bed emergency ward to accommodate flu victims. This single storey unit links to the main hospital but is self-contained with an IT suite, bathrooms, staff facilities, clean and dirty ancillary rooms and all fully heated and ventilated.

Manager Neil Christie, commented: “We completed installation in just two weeks and rose to the contract challenges as always. Hospital staff and management were elated with the fast, turn-key installation.”

The Luton team has continued to pull together to provide a quality service for clients. Matthew Calloway, who joined the sales team last year, is proving to be a valuable member of the team making a significant contribution to sales and the day to day smooth running of the operation.
