Old for New is in Vogue…

Throughout the Portable Offices’ network, the refurbishment of used portable buildings has become a prime requirement and established a worthy precedent for clients looking for affordable, eco-friendly options for their business needs.

This is increasingly the case at the Leeds office where the yard team has put enormous effort into breathing new life into cabins and modular returning from hire.

A ‘pre-loved’ modular was a prime example of this. The building was originally purchased by Rotherham Council a couple of years ago, Portable Offices Leeds’ office then re-sited it for them and clad the building on site to fit with the new school’s stricter planning requirements.

On the subject of schools, further modular buildings went out to provide additional classroom places for schools in Stockton and County Durham.

At Hull Docks, a recycled modular building complex was established on-site to provide canteen, welfare and office facilities.
