The project involved replacing an outdated modular building that had reached the end of its lifespan. The new facility, designed to withstand the harsh coastal environment, includes office spaces, a canteen, and living quarters for the 20 or so workers at the seafront location. The design took into account the proximity to the ocean, incorporating stainless steel air conditioning fixtures and coastal erosion-proof coatings to ensure durability and comfort.

A key challenge in this project was the site’s logistics, as it required transporting large building components through small villages and narrow roads. Portable Offices managed these challenges effectively by arranging traffic management and parking restrictions to facilitate smooth delivery.
