Prior to the relocation, the Scout group faced challenges associated with limited space and facilities while conducting meetings and training sessions in the local village hall. This arrangement was restrictive and did not fully meet the needs of the growing group.

To address these challenges, Fressingfield Scout Group partnered with Portable Offices to construct a purpose-built headquarters. The modular buildings offered the flexibility and customisation required to create tailored meeting and training areas for the youngsters.
The solution
With the generous gift of an acre of land and a period of successful fundraising, Fressingfield Scout Group acquired the modular buildings, which now house a warm and welcoming hall, training room, washroom, toilet facilities, and a first aid area.
Treasurer John Coop expressed satisfaction with the state-of-the-art facilities, accommodating the group’s approximately 150 children and teenagers.
