Bristol based SAM Cases is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of bespoke flight, transportation and protective cases for all types of applications.

Established over 25 years ago, the company has enjoyed a considerable growth pattern which resulted in the need to expand its facilities.

Keen to expand on its current site in Nailsea, the company’s expansion plans were limited by its location on a platform of reinforced concrete and so a decision was made to expand into a complex of portable buildings which eliminated the need for new foundations.

SAM Cases Technical Director, Mathew Addy, oversaw the project. He said: “We had outgrown our current base but were reluctant to move and decided to expand our existing site.

“The concept of expanding into a portable buildings complex to provide a new front office space, printing room and canteen was the ideal solution.”

Mathew undertook an internet search and found the perfect units available at Portable Offices’ Bristol depot.

“It was a cost-effective solution but more than that, the buildings are bright, comfortable and contemporary and feature floor to ceiling glazed units and the latest features and fittings, including a really great air conditioning system.” Mathew was impressed with the build quality and the level of service:
