It’s here and we have to get on and deal with it. We can help you manage through this difficult time. Working at home isn’t suitable for lots of jobs or people’s circumstances. However, it may be possible to put more social distance in place at work.
Easy and quick to install with temporary foundations (concrete slabs) on a few carpark spaces or hard standing area. These cabins can be adjusted to cope with shallow slopes. We can also supply portable toilets to provide separate facilities or a fully integrated unit with kitchen space and toilet facilities.
An isolation pod would help protect a worker(s) in isolation as a quarantine measure. They may have come into close contact with someone with the virus or they have health issues and you want to help them stay safe from the rest of the workforce.
Isolation Pods – Ok, before the outbreak we called it a small cabin as well. These are available in 12ft or 16ft configurations and we can deliver asap, these are ready-to-go units. Available for hire or purchase.
These can be used to split teams up or provide greater social distance between individual workers. These units come with lighting and electrical heating – it just requires connecting to either a generator or mains electrical supply. Available for hire or purchase.
Visitors to your office or site could bring in the virus with them. You can use a larger cabin to create a barrier space. Our standard 32 ft unit enables you to create a space outside the office where you can create a barrier arrangement so staff and visitors don’t need to touch the same surfaces.
It also has enough space for you to quarantine post and parcels in a separate storage area.
We also have a number of units with integrated facilities – toilets and kitchens.
These units come in a range of sizes and would be suitable for between 3 and 6 people. This provides self-contained separation space for one group of staff from another. Please call our team to find out about specific cabin availability, specification and layout.
It will depend on the activity undertaken and the amount of separation space required. We have provided in the table below a suggestion of normal circumstance (pre-virus) capacity based on people working at desks.
Whatever you need to help you through these challenging times, our team is ready to help. Established over 20 years, we pride ourselves on customer service, which is why our Trustpilot rating is 4.9/5. Complete the contact form or call your local depot for more information on available units.
Cabins are equipped with electrical double sockets, heating and lighting. Most of the available units have vinyl floors and wipeable walls. Some cabins will have a carpet instead of vinyl. Please call and discuss your requirements.
Technically yes, but we think given the circumstances that Planning Officers are not going to have a problem with a temporary solution such as this. If planning permission is required, it can always be applied for retrospectively.
It will depend on the surface. If the carpark or hardstanding area is sufficient and flat then it can sit straight onto this surface. The units have 4 legs and each leg needs to sit on a flat step/surface. This is easily achieved with flagstones and mortar. One of our team can help you make this decision.
We will deliver the unit on a HIAB lorry, you just need the space for the vehicle to be able to unload the unit into the desired spot.
The cabin is supplied with a current electrical safety certificate. It will need a qualified electrician to connect it into the mains supply. Alternatively, we can supply a suitable generator to go with the cabin.
Open plan cabins don’t have water or sewage connections. The suites have kitchens and toilets. We can supply septic tanks (and a cleaning service) to plumb into the waste side. Fresh water can either be sourced as bottled water or plumbed in by a qualified plumber from your mains feed.
