Leeds Yorkshire depot expands into new premises

A successful and well-established provider of portable and modular buildings to the private and public sector – Portable Offices – has relocated to a new purpose-built site in Morley, Leeds as part of its expansion to meet the growing demand for portable accommodation and modular buildings in the north of England.

Portable Offices Leeds’ operation was first established four and a half years ago at Birstall. Having enjoyed considerable growth since then, the company has subsequently doubled its workforce and has purchased a two acre site at Highcliffe Industrial Estate on Bruntcliffe Lane.

Following a £1 million investment in the site, the new distribution centre will provide a base for the depot’s sales and administration team and an area to showcase examples of the company’s flagship portable buildings and cabins.

Manager, Chris Hanson, who has over 20 years experience in the portable buildings and cabins industry, said: “Leeds is the business capital of the north and is enjoying a period of considerable growth. However, we are also receiving orders on a national basis and are seeing first-hand the benefits of an upturn in the economy. With many businesses expanding and looking to add-on new office or warehouse accommodation, portable buildings are and look set to continue to be in high demand.”

Portable Offices’ Leeds operation is one of five bases already established around the country, providing the company with significant coverage across the breadth of the UK and enabling fast-track responses to contract enquiries.

Portable Offices has established an enviable reputation for customer service with around 98 per cent of customers surveyed scoring them top marks for service and product. The company has considerable experience in the education, health service, building, commercial and retail sectors and is looking forward to bringing this offer to more organisations looking for a short, medium or long term solution for its accommodation needs.
