Derby depot powers up for 2012

Posted on by Portable Offices Hire Limited

Portable Offices’Derbydepot is powering up for a great year.  Already, the Office is experiencing a massive surge in business thanks to a large order of cabins from a local power station.

The order for one power station based customer is for 16 units including two double stacks for offices and utility units.  Renovation work at the power station has also necessitated the need for a further six units to provide office space and utilities for contractors based on site.

Sales & Hire Administrator, Sam Lawless explains: “It’s been a really busy start to the year for us and a real team effort pulling together to sell in and arrange all of the logistics for the units.  We previously provided several portable buildings to the power station and now they have recommended us to other organisations on site.”

Further orders have also been received for nursery school units including a four bay, timber modular building where the owner raised her own funds for the entire build project.

Sam commented: “We have extensive experience in working with start-up nurseries including helping them through the funding and planning process. In many instances these contracts can take some considerable time to get funding together and to get through planning, but we provide a ‘hand holding’ exercise – helping the client with the complexities of the planning procedure and a couple of these have now come to fruition.”

Derby depot’s relationship with a flagship, icon of industry is still developing and the team is still hopeful that this massive contract will come to fruition during 2012.
